The Last Unicorn

This is unfinished, but is as finished as it will get. I started this about 2 years ago and have worked on it on and off, utterly loosing my motivation with it. However, it would be a shame to ditch it, so, here it is in it's inconsistent state. I think i'm gradually getting over the choppy issue I have with scenes, but never the less, there's a lot of work to do; each leaf has a different style.. and i've still not grasped how exactly you paint the underside of a tree... I'll work on that.
When i first composed this picture I hadn't studied perspective at all, so everything is wrong, the trees stand at an odd angle and so does the unicorn. The harpy looks flat..I could go on...
BUT I like the unicorns head... and the clouds
I'm not going to go back and change things now, but if anyone has any contstuctive critisism, it's welcome. =]

I tried to get the atmosphere right, I focused on the lighting, the types of trees and bushes and lighting and all. For those who have watched the Last unicorn, tell me what you think about my attempt. =]
